What Should I Expect?
Gathered Worship: Our corporate gatherings are all about offering worship to God. The Sunday gathering can change a bit from week to week, but they’re usually tied together in a multi-week teaching series. Expect a typical service to last about an hour and a half with some live music, a talk from the Bible, and a variety of other opportunities to express worship towards God.
Dress: We are pretty casual at Brick. You’ll see everything from jeans to suits, so come as you are.
Children: We have ministries for children through 2nd Grade at this time. The Children join us for Gathered Worship and will be dismissed, by the Pastor, to their gatherings. During the summer months they meet in the class rooms in the Fellowship Hall which is a separate building. Only those who have passed a rigorous screaming process are allowed to work with the children.
Coffee Hour: Following Gathered Worship, each week, we gather in the Fellowship Hall for a time of getting to know each other. Do plan to stick around. Coffee and pastries are served.
24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. 26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
Hebrews 10:24-26 (ESV)
