Each of us has God-given gifts. At Brick, we want to give you opportunity to use them! We believe that everyone can and should be actively serving. Whatever your gifts are, Brick wants to help you develop and use them for God’s purposes.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace. 1 Peter 4:10
Campus Operations
If you love to work with your hands and prefer serving behind the scenes – we could use your help! As you may know, keeping our campus looking nice and maintained is an ongoing task. A few areas we could use your help are:
- Cleaning
- Painting
- Light construction work
- Lawn mowing & yard work
- Snow Removal (plowing/shoveling/snow blowing)
Media & Technology
In an age of widespread technology, we work hard at utilizing these tools for ministry. Audio/Video is used during our weekly worship service to project lyrics and sermon starters, etc. We also maintain an active Facebook page for additional church communication. If you enjoy working with computers check out this ministry.
Missions Outreach
We are thrilled to be part of local and world missions. We encourage everyone to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means attending a short term missions project, financially supporting full-time missionaries or helping with local outreach in our own community.
Opening Gathered Worship
This presents an opportunity to open our time of Gathered Worship each Sunday.with announcements, scripture and prayer. Volunteers are placed on a rotation and asked to prepare a scripture to read.
Ushers & Greeters
The usher team at Seacoast Chapel fills an important role. They are involved in helping to direct guests, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, answering questions, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free.
Prayer Chain
Volunteers will be called each time a new prayer request is added to the prayer chain list.
Small Groups
We believe a small group provides the optimal environment for the life change Jesus Christ intends for every believer. Primary because they foster significant Christ-centered relationships along with practical application of Biblical truth. We’re always looking for additional leaders/facilitators and hosts. If you are a growing believer and enjoy people, this just might be your ministry.
Music & Sound Ministries
If you sing, play an instrument, or have experience in the area of sound, you’ll find a lot of opportunities to use your gifts with the praise team.
